Just be happy Ernie didn't give up a 2nd rounder (or worse, an unprotected 1st) in this deal

And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

I don't get why you wouldn't just keep Crawford. Next time we play the Celtics, I'm betting he torches us.

Honestly, I'm surprised Beal is still on the team.

Which completely conflicts with trading an expiring for the huge contracts of Okafor and Ariza. The front office is either supremely short sited, or completely incompetent in their player acquisitions. Or both, more likely.

Cash-saving move. Beal will start and we will continue to pick-up bench-scrubs from the FA/NBDL scarp-heap.

I would say/have said - both

Pine, I think you would have to fire Ted too. This is an ownership move to get under the luxury tax.

A new big three has announced its arrival - Wall, Crawford and Blatche. Big minutes - big productivity - big results.

But didn't Ernie make moves like the OkaRiza trade to put us here in the first place?

Let's all buy tickets to a Wizards home game on stubhub for 40 cents, cheer the following two chants:

In the 1st and 3rd QRT: "FI-RE ERNIE," *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

In the 2nd and 4th QRT: "TEDS' A CHEAPSKATE," *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*

I'm not, when EG refused to give up Beal for Harden it was clear. Hell will freeze over before Beal get's moved.

Another "clever" trade by this front office.

Hard for me to believe there wasn't something better than this out there. Crawford stunk, but he's at least playable and worth a 2nd rounder at worst.

I have it on good authority that the deal included a number of round trip tickets to Europe for EFG's "scouting" trips so it's all good.

From Mike Lee on Twitter:
League source said #wizards might get another player currently on BOS roster in addition to Leandro Barbosa, so...

A *glimmer* of hope?
