Here is the list of players who have attempted at least 15 clutch shots this season. By clutch shots, I mean shots taken in the last 3 minutes of regulation or overtime with the point differential no greater than 5.

Wall ranks 1st among 28 guys in FG%, and 3rd in eFG% (behind Nowitzki and Conley).

Awesome find Nate. Thats some good stuff right there.

I say he is playing at allNBA level. Isn't he either leading or tied
for the lead in dub-dubs?

Tied with Zach Randolph at 16 for league lead.

This month Wall's TS is up to 57.2% vs 49.7% last month. His ORTG this month is 114 vs 100 last month.

I was wondering about something similar. It's not just John, but the entire Wiz squad that seems to be dominating crunch time.

Anyone know our overall +\- during last eight minutes of regulation and all of overtime minutes this year?

And you could argue he is the best in his class:

Yep, those who wanted Patrick Patterson were right - stupid Kings.

Yeah, you want players like that. TOR has done well to get them.

James Johnson was a great addition as well. And rolling the dice on Sweet Lou was a well.

TOR just keeps adding solid pieces. They just need D Ruz and Valanciunas to reach there potential and they could be nasty. I still think they are a year away from that though. But it could happen this year. Its just a bit of a long shot to go from first round exit to title game all in one year.

As for the Wizards and Wall. There upside is in large part because of the leap he is making. Now we need to see Beal take one. Not that Beal isn't doing better this year. He is ORPM and DRPM are up. But what Wall is doing is at a whole different level. If Beal can do that, that would make the team pretty dangerous.

But that might not even be needed if they can get Webster back soon.

I would argue that Beal hasn't improved or that the improvement is so small as to not be measurable. Some of his stats are up and some are down but nothing dramatic.

Wall, border-lining on the MVP discussion.

Beal looks better defensively this season than in years past plus he's shooting 45% from the 3 point line. But it looks like he isn't playing up to all star status at least in the east. He does need to do better at scoring at the rim and at his mid range game.

I would say the top 5 in no specific order would have to be Paul, Wall, Curry, Westbrook, Parker. With a few guys in the conversation. But the real question should not be if wall is top 5 or not, It should be who of the older PG's in the top 5 will fall off first.

1. Curry
2. Lillard
3. Paul
4. Lowry
5. Wall
6. Westbrook

The NBA is ridiculously loaded at the PG position. Top 5 varies from day to day.
Jeff Teague is doing some things right too what with ATL actually ahead of us.

A lot of people overlook Lillard. He doesn't get much hype playing with Portland but he is having a huge year. Lillard/Mathews is probably the 2nd best backcourt in the league.

Lillard's great but to me he doesn't play like a normal PG. He's more like
another SG playing at the 1, an elite one at that. I don't think of him
as a playmaker for others on his team. But if you can shoot it that well,
why pass? Not trying to lump him in with Kobe or anything...
