Nah, I want the HCA, especially against a team like the Bulls. We are way better on the road but alot of that has to do with a small, super quiet crowd. They wont be like that by playoff time. It will be full and rocking. Our guys will feed off of that. It wont have that weird creepy feel that it does now. With that being said, I will still be confident if we dont

I refuse to believe those numbers are true. They are damn near impossible, especially from a guy who people thought was a flat out horrible shooter for alot of his career

Disagree, like I said in his appreciation thread, dude only took like 47 threes in his first 220+ career game (I think that was over 4 or 5 seasons). I think it's more of a natural progression and playing alongside a point guard of Wall's caliber.

no, I agree with you. I was speaking more in terms of how others see him. I was one of the only guys on here who was ok with him starting over Webster and I knew he would shoot it just as good with Webster. Its like people totally forgot how money he was late last year when Wall came back or he was just overshadowed by Wall-Beal but he was shooting great then also

Wall had no jumper two years ago.

Imagine where Beal will be in two year. :o

No, Wall had no jumper and got one. Beal had a jumper and lost it. So by that logic, two years from now will be depressing. And furthermore, it's your f*cking fault! You made an Ariza appreciation thread to the point of a 40 explosion but refuse to make one for Beal.

They seem like they may play up to their competition. If trends continues -since the All-Star Break- we should get good production from Wall, Ariza, and Gortat. We need two other players to have good games to make this a comfortable win. Beal has been all over the map; his numbers are down since the break, especially his shooting from trey. If he can step up and maybe Book or maybe (heart pounding) Porter I think we could cruise. But point blank we need these next two games, let's get started here.

Switch out Gooden and that makes for a pretty good prediction.

Watched just the second half. Some observations - half baked of course.

Singleton is the worst non Maynor Wizard since Yi. He's Arvis suck.

Can't understand how Gooden got 12 points.

Seemed quiet in there... I think I heard some drunken buffoons in the 200 section screaming at our old guys. Pine, was that you telling Miller "that's your shot" after he clanked a junky fade away turn around j from the free throw line?

For someone with such a beautiful stroke, Beal seems to miss a bunch of wide open jumpers.

John Wall? Butter. Just toying with them.

Meanwhile these refs? Jesus we've been raked over the coals this year with the refs.

Yup Beal isn't there yet. Then again, Beal, when he entered the league was 2 years younger than Ray Allen was as a rookie.

BTW, at least tonight, Beal's jumper was better than Wall's. Beal was 5 for 13 with his jumpers ( 2-6 from 3 and 4-9 from 2) while Wall was 2 of 10 (Wall was 0-2 from 3 and 2-8 from 2 point range).

JWiz you apparently bought into the Beal= Allen hype, and now that Beal is not living up to your expectations you're disappointed. You shouldn't have believed the hype.

Beal is on track to being a very good NBA player and that's what matters most...not whether he's the second coming of Ray Allen.

I probably have, but it's Beal fault for teasing in the first year.

I think beal inconsistency has to do with his body still developing...He's gotten taller and still has to adjust his shot...not to mention getting stronger as well...Once he's done developing I think his jumper will be as crisp as well all hoped
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft

On another note, Indy is looking very mortal lately.

I felt as though Indy made to many moves in fear of Miami and therefore may have disrupted the chemistry a little bit.

Missed the game due to birthday shenanigans, glad to see Drew Gooden give me a nice 26th birthday present.

Andre Miller, Drew Gooden, and Al Harrington. If we could travel back to like 2004, we'd be a title contender.

Does anyone else find it astounding that Gortat only played 29 minutes and we won fairly handily without a backup C? Not even Seraphin?

It's the Harrington/Gooden affect. Just kidding. But, on the other hand, the two vets did play well together, enabling Randy to give Gortat some extended time off. Might not work most nights but it did against the Jazz.

Yeah, I think Indy thought they were being clever by trading for Evan Turner, but he's not a good fit, since he's not a good catch and shoot guy that spreads the defense. Didn't he go 0 for 5 in a 1 point loss recently?

Just checking back. This has to be one of the shortest game threads (10 pages at time I am posting this) that I have seen in a while (especially compared to that now famous Raptors game thread).

I don't think I posted in this game thread yet so...

having made note of the utter lack of positive contributions
from our old farts on the bench in the Memphis game, I should
applaud those same old farts for making a very solid contribution
on Wed night. If they can provide even 75% of what they provided
against UT, we'll survive the loss of Nene. Truthfully, on average
I would think somewhere about halfway between Mon and Wed
nights is what I might ought to expect going forward.

Dang Ariza is good. Nice game from Beal and 'tat. Wall seemed
poised to step up down the stretch to the extent that we might
have needed it but it wasn't necessary. Book wasn't too visible
in the box score but seemed solid to me. Porter kinda the same
thing as Book. Empty stat line except for the fouls which is to
be expected with inexperienced rookies. He's gradually finding
his way.

Love to add Enes Kanter to this team. Favors hasn't impressed
much but Kanter looks like the real deal.
