Sounds like we overpayed, but that he's a hard worker. Utah has got to spend their money on someone I guess. Thanks for the insight boys.

Undersized PF. Great hustler willing to give up his body - especially on the boards. Great speed but really is not a good transition player - partly because he sells out effort on boards and doesn't react quickly. Has worked hard to develop solid mid-range shot. Goes well to his left - especially against teams that scout poorly and don't realize he's left-handed. Not a significant scoring threat against most teams. Will defend physically but has major trouble with size on defense. Realizes his deficiencies and is a team player. Tends to be injury-prone. Many regard him as a great athlete, but he's a straight-line athlete without great quickness.

Fairly limited player offensively but plays within himself so his efficiency is good.

Very good at running down loose balls. Freak athlete.

A bit undersized and poor awareness in regards to help D.

I would have done $10 mil over 3, not 2. But again, it seems like agents are asking their players to do short term deals with the addendum that there will be a big increase in the cap in 2 years.

I liked T Book a lot... but can't blame him for taking the overpay.

He's dead to me now ;)

Ernie fully expecting Khem Birch will make this roster and provide some of Booker’s value moving forward? Obviously, if we get Blair then he will gobble up most of those minutes. But it would be nice to see the Wiz develop within someone like Birch.

Looking that way which is the conversation in the Birch thread.

Athletic, undersized 4, gets bullied a lot in the paint, developed a decent midrange jumper, very active on the glass, quick twitch muscles

I know Booker had his faults as a player, but he did try. He was also here during some very dark times, and kept the right attitude. Blue collar guy, I hope nothing but the best for him. There are better options out there, but lets not act like there aren't any worse ones either. Go get dat money cook book.

I'm a bit puzzled by this signing.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Loved Book's hustle and toughness. But that's a lot of dough for him. Prefer Humphries. Happy for Trevor B. though.

Wasn't sure how to feel about this signing, so I thought I'd pop in hear to read reactions. Glad to hear Wiz fans appreciate this guy. Apparently Utah overpaid, but we won't be competitive for the length of his contract, so I'm not mad.

We'll take care of him!
