I dont like him over Wall or Miller at all and I honestly would rather have Temple play over him at this point. Temple's defense is a million times better

There are too many PFs on the roster. Marshall would be a good floor leader behind Miller in case Wall was injured.

I don't see Temple as a playmaking guard.

We would have won at least 4-5 more games with Marshall the whole year instead of Fart.

Marshall will be on an NBA roster, somewhere...

The Lakers plan to place guard Kendall Marshall on waivers, but have a strong interest in re-signing him to a new deal should he go unclaimed in the waiver process, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

It would be more like

Wall/Miller/Marshall
Beal/Webster/Temple
Paul/Otto/Glen
Nene/Hump/Gooden
Gortat/Blair/Kevin S

When healthy.

Temple, Glen and Otto are the perimeter defensive specialists.

3 passing PGs

Much better team ball handling then last year when Wall was pretty much it except Beal getting better.

S4/S5 in PP and Gooden

Much better mid range game with Otto and Humphries in the mix and now a SFs that can score off the dribble.

And load of beef in the post.

But most of that is true with or without KM

The Bucks claimed him.

Which is a good haul for them. They need playmakers there.

Nope, they should have known he would not clear waivers.

The sneaky part of that signing by Milwaukee is that Henson played with Marshall at Carolina.

LA gambled and got burned. Once again we tossed away an asset for nothing AND Marshall could have stepped into old-man Millers spot.

They waived him so they could complete their amnesty bid on Carlos Boozer. For a team with such a short-term focus as the Lakers, it probably was a decent move. Definitely a great move for the Bucks to acquire him, they need a lot of help in the back-court.

Dude he put up 8 and 9 on a crappy team and doesn't play defense. Not to mention he was playing in a system (D'Antoni's) that helps PGs with assist numbers. Can some of us get over this guy already. If he was that damn good a highly doubt the Lakers would have risked putting him on waivers.

Because Boozer is going to help them win a title? No! About as much as Marshal will. They are not getting a title run, they are better off keeping the young guy around.
