I cannot think of a more appropriate song to celebrate last night's Nationals loss.
The DJs over at Ziegfeld's/Secrets must have had this song on repeat all night long.
Gays all over DC are celebrating.

I have absolutely ZERO SYMPATHY for the Nationals and their fans.
You cannot seize someone's property via eminent domain and tear it down to build a baseball stadium and think all is forgotten and nobody will remember.

/Zonker suddenly understands why WTA is so upset about gentrifying.

Oh, honey, WTA, why didn't you say something earlier?

We love you just the way you are.

This might be the stupidest of the stupid thread ideas.

You think I am gay?
You think I am a raver?

I am neither.
But I know lots of them.
I know most of the people in this Fox 5 video clip.

No.
What is stupid was the Nationals building a baseball stadium over nightclubs which were considered hallowed ground to lots of people.
Many of those people have passed on and are no longer with us.

The Nationals are cursed.

Do you remember the National's epic collapse against the Cardinals a couple of years ago?
Clearly there were other forces at work against the Nationals that night.

Why hasn't this been locked yet?

Why hasn't this piece of shidt been suspended yet? I like that we keep things neat and tidy here, but sometimes I wish the moderators would....moderate?

Are you upset about not being able to sell your game 5 tickets for triple face value? :x

I tend to stay away from moderation-type discussions, but I have to agree on this one. I mean, what's even the point of locking the thread, knowing he's just going to create another along the same lines sooner or later? Fix the problem at its root source.

Speaking of the Nationals, the CVS near my house has the best pharmacy, pharmacy staff, and pharmacist I've ever dealt with.

WTA, here's your mission. Go find that first box score. You know, Naismith, Springfield, 1891, peach baskets, etc. Don't come back without it.

Well tonight while you are at CVS I will be in a real city watching a real team play baseball.

A lot of things not to like about this idiotic thread and the idiot who rolled his bowling ball into the alley to create it, but the chief thing is: no the Nats did not "choke." They just got beat.

I lived 20 years in San Francisco, btw. The new stadium was also built on what was a low-income area.
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....
