Man no kidding. LOL, I am sure those guys don't want to get hurt before RS ( Wall and Beal don't even look intrested in these games) but it seems like these nagging injuries are happening anyways.

I think we should give some on this board the benefit of hyperbole whether they're sober or not.

The offense definitely has some kinks to work out, but it seems the defense took the night off as well. Chalk this up to trial and error. Poter, Silas, Kevin, and Blair had decent games. My only gripe with this game is it seemed to reinforce Wittman's uncanny ability to completely ice the "hot hand." That Porter sub really irked me.

My man Gary Neal should be playing for Wiz as a backup 2. He's a pure shooter and a great 3-point shooter. It's just preseason but typical Wiz with a few bumps and bruises. I'd sit Beal the rest of the preseason and play Rice and Poter as much as possible.

I heard about 3 minutes of the game. Did the Beal injury look bad? I heard he took foul shots then left. Hope he's ok.

Hard to tell, they said it's a wrist sprain. Then again, Humphries left with a lil ole cut.

Glenn Consor tweeted that it didn't look like anything major. It was his non-shooting hand also.

Because it's preseason....????

You're making my point. Yes, it's PRESEASON. This is the time you let the young guys play! I could care less about Wittman's rotations now, he's experimenting and throwing mud against the wall to see what sticks. But there should be some common sense rules that dictate you don't yank a young guy who you are looking to have big season when he's gets hot in the PRESEASON.

It's showing that the Wizards need Ariza. Now Porter is forced to step up as a rookie and fill out the gap left by Ariza. The while team is as a awhile is effected by his lost.

Yes, after 3 pre season games it is very clear that Wizards are missing ariza. It is obvious to see after 3 games that Paul Pierce, Otto Porter and Glen Rices output will not reach Trevor Arizas all star (contract) year of 77 games 14ppg 6rpg 2apg. Those type of numbers are just irreplaceable.

No, it shows that it's pre-season...when I guy like Pierce, who has nothing to prove, is basically in cruise control.

Yes, Ariza will be missed, especially on D, but I'm confident that Pierce, Porter and Rice will more than make up for the loss of Ariza on the offensive end. And with the addition of Blair and Hump in the front court, this is a better Zards team, imo, than the one that advanced to the second round of the eastern conf playoffs last season.
