What is our opening game rotation?

Assuming something like:

Gortat Seraphin
Pierce Gooden
Porter Pierce
Rice Silas Temple
Wall Miller

Is that about all that's left?

I imagine Blair will play

And Temple will get a lot of SG minutes and clank every shot

Miami is still weak up front, we should be able to exploit that offensively

Witt hardly ever likes to go small and Im sure he wouldnt do it for just one game when Nene & Blair comes back the next game. Basically I dont think he wants to alter things so much. He may go small some during the game but I think he wants everyone to get use to PP playing the 3 for us, not the 4. Also, KS has been great so far in Preseason and I think he still trust Gooden after last year. I think he will give them a shot 1st. Then if KS gets in foul trouble (which he probably will) or if Bosh is just killing us, then he may go small. I think KS starts at the 4 with Gooden being the backup 4 & 5.

I actually want Porter to start in Beal's place while he's out but seems like Witt doesnt want to go that route. I will be very interested to see if he gives Porter a shot in this next game

I would go

Wall- Dre-Temple
Porter- Rice-Temple
Pierce- Porter-Rice
KS- Gooden-Pierce
Gortat-Gooden

Return to Washington Wizards
