This is ridiculous. He's one of the best PnR finishers in the league compared to most guys his size. Compare him to Okafor for instance

He's struggled more this season yes, but Gortat certainly has an above average ability to catch and finish in traffic.

Maybe, an exaggeration, but in close spaces, he bobbles a lot of passes. Any pass below his waist is almost sure to be a turnover. Just judging from what I've been seeing all season.

Surely Webster isn't in there for defensive purposes, lol.

That's generally true for most 7' tall human beings.. Gortat is much better in that regard than a lot of bigs out there

Gortat has above average handles for the position, without a doubt.

Wall is easily the most endearing athlete in DC. Love his tenacity.

Okay, the sky is not falling.

The hustle and intensity are back. When this team controls the boards and out hustles a young team that's a great sign.
Bye bye Beal.

Got to say the team doesn't seem to be missing Bradley Beal.
Bye bye Beal.

Huge mistake by Wittman putting in Webster over Porter. Gotta keep developing Porter, and we have to get Webster to the magic number.

Gooden at stretch four doesn't seem to hurt the team at all.
Bye bye Beal.

I don't know if Drew has hit 2 straight jumpers all year. That would be great if he can start hitting those again.

I agree but he got very few minutes in first half as well. Could he be sick or injured? Or does Randy just not like him?

Well now, that was a good 3rd quarter. The magic have a whole bunch of supposedly talented young cheap guys, I feel like since Howard left they've been in a perpetual rebuild, eventually their team has to show something for it...I wonder how much of it was on Vaughn's inability to coach em up.

He would be hitting those open threes that Temple, Pierce, Rasual, etc were bricking left and right

They just have too many non-shooters.. completely mucks up their spacing on offense

Level of competition matters too, but Beal has to notice that team isn't settling as much for mid range 2s. I hope it rubs off on him, he was attacking more before he got injured, so maybe this will help bolster that idea for em.
