Gortat has one of the worst hands that I've seen in a long time.

This is ridiculous. He's one of the best PnR finishers in the league compared to most guys his size. Compare him to Okafor for instance

He's struggled more this season yes, but Gortat certainly has an above average ability to catch and finish in traffic.

Maybe, an exaggeration, but in close spaces, he bobbles a lot of passes. Any pass below his waist is almost sure to be a turnover. Just judging from what I've been seeing all season.

That's generally true for most 7' tall human beings.. Gortat is much better in that regard than a lot of bigs out there

I agree but he got very few minutes in first half as well. Could he be sick or injured? Or does Randy just not like him?

Well now, that was a good 3rd quarter. The magic have a whole bunch of supposedly talented young cheap guys, I feel like since Howard left they've been in a perpetual rebuild, eventually their team has to show something for it...I wonder how much of it was on Vaughn's inability to coach em up.

They just have too many non-shooters.. completely mucks up their spacing on offense

Level of competition matters too, but Beal has to notice that team isn't settling as much for mid range 2s. I hope it rubs off on him, he was attacking more before he got injured, so maybe this will help bolster that idea for em.
