The crowd seemed pretty pathetic on TV, FWIW.

Super fun game, but Toronto is awful.

I was at the game last night and I was real disappointed in the crowd for most of the game. Far too little energy and noise considering it was a playoff game. The only time the crowd got really amped up was when Pierce hit those two 3pters in the 4th quarter.

Of course, the crowd was its loudest when Toronto was at the FT line in the 4th qtr and fans were rooting for a free chikfila sandwich. I hated that.

My recollection is different. Yes we did get loud in the 4th for ChicFilA but we got loud at other times too.

Wall just can't run an offense late in the game.

Of course he can, it's just that Wittman pretty much played him the entire game and he was gassed.

If Wall came out in the 2nd half it must have been early in the 3rd Q and I don't think he did.
Wizards/Wall knew they owed our fans a home win as well as the fact that going up 3-0
is for all intents and purposes, ending the series. At worst TOR wins the next 2 and
we win in 6. But more likely we just end it all on Sunday.

Toronto seems like so much less than I expected, and the Wizards, while up 3-0, haven't exactly destroyed the Raptors in all these games. But Wall's last two games have looked like a glimpse at his next level, a possible move from All Star to All NBA. There was a time when 5-15 FG shooting and 5 TOs was a sign of a player with a long way to go, but now he looks like a player who not only wants to win but can find a way to make it happen. He looks more confident. Maybe it's the other TPE (The Pierce Effect).

Would be great to close them out in 4, especially with Atlanta now going at least 5. If the Wizards can limit the brain fart stretches, they definitely have a fighting chance. Hopefully Chitown and Cleveland wear each other down in a grind out 7 game series.
