Yeah, haven't been that impressed with Oubre. His defense has been solid but everything else leaves much to be desired.

Second that. And Dudley looks pudgier than me after the winter holidays. He may not be able to do much except camp in the corner for 3's. Gotta hope one of Dudley/Anderson/Webster recovers to form. Oubre simply ain't ready.

Is it okay to be moderately excited about this team? Hump drilling 3s, Wall looking in mid-season form already, Otto Porter doing Playoff Porter things...

Not sure yet. Who will take and make the big shot? John? Brad? Otto? Can Hump be consistent with the 3 ball? Can anybody stay healthy behind Porter? Will Nene accept the backup role? A lot of questions and while this is pretty encouraging, I don't see much more than 47 or 48 wins.

I prefer to stick to pessimism because that way I can't be hugely disappointed. Humphries playing well next to Gortat is something I haven't anticipated--quite the opposite of what I expected.
