I laughed so hard when the Heat got called for that 5 seconds late. Buckhantz was overjoyed, he's ALWAYS raging about how the ref never calls the other team for 5 seconds.

Relatedly, I love looking at the NBA's Last Two Minute Reports: http://official.nba.com/nba-last-two-minute-reports-archive/. The one from last night isn't up yet, but I see that the NBA determined the 5 second call on Porter in the Detriot game was incorrect: http://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2015/11/L2M-WAS-DET-11-21-15.pdf.

Somewhat gratifying I guess but they're not going to change the ...wait a minute, we won that game anyway right?
Character road win.

How'd we ever lose to the frickn lakers. Dame.

Not necessarily, it's not like Dragic ties him up. He unintentionally blocked the ball with the back of his hand/arm essentially making it a loose ball which Beal recovered and passed to Neal.

It'll be interesting to see what the NBA officiating report will say, I suspect it's going to be in the Wizards favor.

Edit:

http://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2015/12/L2M-WAS-MIA-12-7-15.pdf

The report from the Heat game is up and they ruled the Beal play an incorrect non-call. Surprising because at least from that angle it looks as if Beal throws the ball of the back of Dragic's outstretched arms.

Great find btw, that's a nice little page to bookmark and revisit in the future.

porter has just got to step up and can't be taking nights of 5-15 fg consistently.

(Added: This was the year that Porter was supposed to take the next step. Take the next step, dude).

Porter had 14 boards, 4 assists & 2 steals: shot didn't go in, but he still had a pretty good game.

That was a heck of a win and a lot of fun to watch. Gary Neal must have taken his Rasual Roberts pill -- he had a great game.

Need to give Hollins some kudos too, guys: we won the game because we got to take 23 shots more than Miami, after all, and Hollins grabbed 4 offensive boards in his 15 minutes PT.

Also Rasual Butler.

Though I'm intrigued by this Roberts fellow. Can he play PF?

Neal has been our most consistent player on the offensive end. I think he's due for a major stat correction, but until that happens it's been great having such a solid bench for once.

Neal's TS is at 60% and his ORTG is 111. Maybe we should pay him $20 million.

Yeah, I've seen it a couple of times. I don't mind general criticism but sometimes it's too harsh.

Anyway - yeah, please to e-meet you buddy!
