My team probably wouldn't dazzle from the three which could turn out to be a problem in today's NBA, but I like their defense, competitive makeup and their ability to create easy baskets for each other.

Rod Strickland/Phil Chenier/Trevor Ariza/Chris Webber/Elvin Hayes

Leaving Arenas on the bench was a tough choice, but I like him more as a change of pace guy, with Strickland being a better, bruising fit with the rest of the group.

Hayes over Unseld was another tough one for me, but Hayes length and athleticism struck me as a better fit alongside Webber.

My bench:

Arenas, Wall, Ballard, Hamilton, Malone, Unseld, Dandridge

If there are no rules, I'll still break em. I'll go with a 6 man starting lineup. :)

Starters: Wall, Arenas, Bobby D, Gus Johnson, Elvin and Wes.

Reserves: Michael Jordan, CWeb, Ruland, Kevin Porter (stealing CCJ's good call), Rip Hamilton, Walt Bellamy, Caron Butler, Mitch Kupchack.

I never saw Gus Johnson and Walt Bellamy but heard too many good things about them to leave them off - and Johnson's stats for his first 8 seasons with the Bullets were terrific.

The only rule should be to have been a Bullets/Wizards fan for far too long.

PG - Mark Price
SG - Mitch Richmond
SF - Hot Plate Williams
PF - Jan Vesely (tie with Oleksiy Pecherov)
C - Kwame F Brown

Bench:
Muggsy Bogues
Javaris Crittendon
Chris Singleton
Andray Baltche
Javale McGee

Team President - Susan O'Malley
GM - EFG
Coach - Leonard Hamilton

I almost hate myself a little bit for including Price, Richmond, and Bogues, who were all probably decent guys who were acquired at the wrong time or for the wrong reasons. Maybe I should have included Randy Foye, Mike Miller, and Peter John Ramos. There's just so much to choose from... I'm sure I'm forgetting some great examples of Bullets/Wizards history.

4 in, 1 out offense:
C: Gheorghe Mureșan
PF: Manute Bol
SF: Ralph Sampson
SG: Peter John Ramos
PG: Muggsy Bogues

All 5' 8" and under:
C: Willie Somerset (1965-66)
PF: Herm Klotz (1947-48 and the shortest player to win an NBA championship)
SF: Greg Grant (1995-96)
SG: Earl Boykins (2009-10)
PG: Muggsy Bogues (1987-89)

Thanks, Wikipedia.

Name-dropper. Herm "Red" Klotz is 93 years old. If Abe were alive, it'd be a birthday cake opportunity.

Riordan was fun to watch him play defense.
Bye bye Beal.

What do they all have in common?

Each and everyone one of them, at some point when they showed a small glimmer of actual NBA skills/focus/aptitude, were praised by Steve Buckhantz as the second coming of George Mikan.

Sadly, Wikipedia says Red passed away in 2014.

All I know is that if there are no rules, C-Webb never got traded and he's on my team.

For sheer fun value rather than playability:

Manute, Gheorghe, Pervis
Kupchak, Honeycomb
Dandridge, Hot Plate
Chenier, Jeff Malone
Monroe, Arenas, Porter
