Tough game to lose after carrying play early, but this is a young team. They'll learn from this and only get better and better. Fear the Turtle!
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

+1

This team will beat most with their size and rebounding depth. Our lack of 3 pt shooting and PG play is a concern but that's a next year sort of concern.. can't fix it this year with Howard starting

Yeah, I was hoping Howard would take a step up this season - the team needed him to in order to be an elite team. It just hasn't happened on a consistent basis. He's the only true PG on the team. Allen is more of a 2 and is really just an immature freshman with potential - at this point.

Howard is just physically and mentally not able to play at a high division 1 level right now. No jump shot, can't penetrate, poor decision making. He seems like a nice guy but he can't play at this level.

Yeah, he showed some signs as a freshman, but he hasn't developed even a little bit since then.

I think injuries robbed him of the little athleticism he had. Plus without playing for so long, I don't think his game sense really developed.

I only caught the 2nd half of this game, but wow...the horrible play continues.

I didn't even watch any of it. Thing is - when Gary Williams team half-court offense wasn't working, they could still score some on fast breaks, but this team is not built for running - and running really isn't Turgeon's style. Anyway, next year will be good. They have a PG coming in, and they'll have better outside shooters getting playing time.

if this goes on for like 5 games straight, I'd be concerned... but this was their first bad game (all 40 mins).

Still 13-3 with many conference games left. They'll get to 20+ wins...

They might get to 20 wins and not be in the dance. They probably need to beat UNC, Duke and NC State at least once to make a claim. They have beaten no one.

Give it time. Despite the recent struggles, they can play with anyone even without a good PG. Just need to be physical and rebound the hell out of the ball... and they have the guys to do it.

They have been bullied by older bigmen so far, which negates our offensive rebounding. It's clear that our half-court offense is still a big question mark, with a lack of consistent shooters and an alarming number of turnovers at a slow pace. Our youth have to grow up really quick to make the tourney this year.

Pe'Shon's "pass" for Len's game winner came after another shot Howard no prayer of making.

Watching Len not get the ball nearly enough is tough.
Bye bye Beal.

I was at the game and Pe'Shon should sit at the end of the bench and never get up he is pure crap but a great heads up play by Len on getting that ball in the hoop to win the game.

If Len is on the board, can you imagine him NOT being the pick after Oleksiy Pecherov, Jan Vesely, and Tomas Satoransky?

And honestly, I think Alex Len coming to a team with all the bigs they have--Nene, Okafor, Seraphin, Vesely, Booker if he's here--goodness that would special!

Alex Len is already a favorite not just in the area, he would become an international star with the Wizards.

Wall to Len? Wow. After playing with no PG's Alex would be in heaven.
Bye bye Beal.

Since Len is a college player, plays local, plays emotionally, I don't think anyone would mind him being the pick. I'd rather take Muhammed b/c of a real need for an alpha type scorer, but Len is no slouch.
