I'm stunned. Why has Dixon all of a sudden decided to become our central focus on offense. He's taking way too many shots.

Well, that's game. Groundhog's day. Wiz pack the tent and roll over in the fourth time and time again.

just unbelievable... this team and its' stupid coach never ever learn. Why couldn't Eddie Jordan stick with his good players and try to expand the lead???

Nicely done Eddie.

I am officially no longer part of the Furious 45. Let the man coach...we'll rack up a ton of ping pong balls in the process, so I say GO EDDDDDIIIIIEEEEEE! :D

I hate this team.

Why in the **** do they just fall apart in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter every game?

Play well for 43 minutes and then blow it all in the last 5 minutes. It's like they just give up. How embarrassing and pathetic. I don't care if Jordan is fully to blame or not, he HAS TO GO.

Wow, they're just destroying us. All the good will built up by the very nice first three quarters has been wiped from the face of the Earth.

:rofl2:

As soon as I saw the 4th Quarter lineup, I knew we were going to lose the game. Now JVG and Mark Jackson bashing EJ's substitutions. Finally, they see it live!!!

It's like JVG said to start the game: we have to more or less play perfect basketball to beat a good team. One dud six minute stretch like we had tonight in the fourth kills us dead.

Should be happy that Eddie Jordan got outcoached or angry that the team just gave away a solid win... Oh yeah, we can't defend the three for s*it

well, look how many minutes caron and jamison played compared to how much the starters for houston played... no one over 33 minutes... they just ran out of gas at the end...

I didn't see much of the game, but was Nick Young hurt or something? Why wasn't he in the game with about 3 mins to go, with the Wiz clearly struggling on offense. What does EFJ have to do to get fired?

wizards are up 9
11 minutes to go

new lineup comes in

Thomas
Songaila
Young
Dixon
Daniels

7 minutes to go
wizards losing by 3

Butler and Jamsion come back
Dixon still thinks that he has to be the #1 scorer
Dixon misses his next 4 shots

wiz lose by 12

really glad to hear JVG call out EJ for not putting Butler and Jamison in soon enough. He made a statement at the start of the 4th quarter like "how is any offense going to come from this lineup"

of course, what does JVG know.....just moments before when we were up 9, he was calling EJ one of the most underrated coaches in the NBA

Washingon had the lead 85-76, and Eddie had Etan and Songaila in when Houston score 9 straight to tie it. EJ callled a timeout.

Etan was still in in after the timeout. Nice work, Eddie.

Houston won 103-91 as Butler and Jamison couldn't get a shot, and Juan kept forcing shots. Wizards couldn't deal with Houston's ball movement at the end.

I thought the refs called two bad fouls on both Blatche and McGee this game. Otherwise, the Wizards did about what they can do.

Caron stunk it up I thought, but Jamison played hard and played well.
Bye bye Beal.

way to be optimistic! i like it!

also a good game from McGee. 8 and 4 with 2 blocks. He should have had 4 more points if he hadn't gotten fouled on a tip dunk and a lob.

I can't figure out why people are mad. When I heard Arenas and Haywood were injured I immediately became afraid that we would still be semi-competitive again this season. Worst possible scenario being squeaking into the playoffs again to get swept by the Cavs for the 13th year in a row and ending up with the 17th overall draft pick.

I'm enjoying watching this season more than last season. I'm enjoying watching our young guys get minutes. I'm enjoying watching coaching mistakes being exploited. It is my opinion that this team, even fully healthy, cannot win a championship. Championship teams all share at least one quality, and that is playing defense. Therefore it would be impossible for this team with this coach to ever win a championship.

Also, with the money we spent on Jamison and Arenas this offseason, it was obvious there would be no big free agent signings for a while.

That left us with one option to become a contender....be bad enough to get your coach fired and get lucky in the draft. It's such a relief to see that dream inching closer and closer to that reality. THIS is the season I thought the people here would appreciate. THIS kind of season gets a coach fired. Did you really want to try and squeak into the playoffs again? With no chance to win anything? I can't think of a more disappointing and depressing season than another 1st round exit, or barely missing the playoffs all together. Our current situation actually gives me hope for the future.

It's going to be a fun and interesting season of Wizards basketball. This McGee kid gets better each night.
