Buying Wizards tickets - question

Post#1 » by JBucks » Mon Jan 12, 2009 3:18 pm

I'm a Bucks fan living in D.C. and would like to buy a ticket to tonight's game. But I don't want to do it on Ticketmaster (prices too steep). Are there scalpers outside the Verizon Center ordinarily? Where?

Yeah if you are taking the metro, you will see scalpers as soon as you exit the station.

Yup, scalpers aplenty on the F Street entrance side. Be prepared to negotiate or lie even. feign self righteous indignation, say stuff like
"Are you kidding me?! Dude around the corner was offering better seats for less!" If you walk away, they will follow you.

Or go on craigslist. Season ticket holders can e-mail their tickets.
