Nick had 31 and Critt had 26 but both received more minutes than Mike James :D

The kids mostly got good minutes, it was an exiting game - if we're going to win one here or there, this would be the way to do it.

Hah, wtf. I knew those numbers didn't sound right. Sportsline has it right now. Still, not too horrible :)

I feel bad for Pech. +/- of -14 -- in only nine minutes!!! Every minute he spends on the court he digs himself a deeper hole...
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

I know we'd all like to think Pesh has a future in this league but I just don't see it. I didn't see it in the time he got last season, and I don't see it this season. He's a one-trick pony who's one trick is pretty awful. I'd like nothing more than for Pesh to prove me wrong, but I don't see a lot of potential in him.

Worst record in the league gets us a 75% chance of not getting Griffin. I'm all for continuing to tank, but winning periodically is important for morale and hope for the future.

+1 fish

The other day I posted that I was going to this game and couldn't be less excited. So glad I'm eating my words right now. Caron was the f'ing truth down the stretch there. He hit five consecutive shots, including the game winner, that were just completely ridiculous. Reminded me why I love him.

Why oh Why did Ernie pick-up his option? Does this make any sense other than to use Pech as an expiring filler piece?

I was out last night, stopping off at Giant on the way home, and sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes listening to the last 6 min or so of the game. A win like that is good for MY morale, so I can imagine what it does for the team.

I was at the game and the team was celebrating like they had just won the playoffs, rushing the court, dancing, etc... These guys are still playing to win.

I hadn't been to a game all season but ended up going last night. Wasn't really all that motivated so I didn't get there till mid-way thru the 3rd. By the time I got there I don't think Antawn scored another point...and Caron couldn't miss. The place went nuts....glad I went.

This and the feelings posted on the Wiz tix threads. It's not good for anyone
when we are an embarassment on the court.

Remember the lotto is incrementally biased in favor of the lousy teams.
And even at that, your chances of the #1#1 are unfavorable.

whie readily conceding that Pech has generally looked bad, let's not lose sight
of his youth, size and inexperience. It's not ridiculous to suggest that he might
become a useful role player. That said, I'd have more faith if he showed more
frequent positive signs. But he still hasn't played much at all.
