#1 AJ - Hands down. May have been his best game of the year and he did it all in only 29 minutes making CCJ very happy. I heard throw the grapevine CCJ send Tapps a " I LOV U" build a bear after the game.

#2 DMAC - for his combo man up D, rebounds, block and pts and passion.

#3 CB - Mr Glue. Steady vet filling the sheet. He brought the passion also. They focused on shutting him down and he just let the game come to him. Were are those CB bashes who said he bailed on the team.

Honorable Mentions

DSong - this guy deserves his own award. No one does more with less then DSong. He is a warrior. Him playing center while outmatched in physical size and athletics night in and night out is a stabilizing force on this team. He just plays the game the right way and he is totally efficient. If he only could get 6" off the ground, he would be a star. 24-35 FG and 7-8 Fts over the last 5 games. I wouldn't trade him from this team. They need what he brings.

Tapps - for holding this team together and bringing along the younger players. He may remind some people here of EJ in some ways but he has also brought action. He has the youngs working out and he is giving more time in practice to defense instead of just talking about it and hoping it would get better. He is hard on the young players sometimes but he is also a believer in them and gives them minutes.... Extended ones when they play the right way. And without the return of 2 of our best players in Haywood and GA, he has them on a 4-4 run. Someone give his man some love after all the bashing he got. IMO, he was the perfect fit to transition away from EJ and we are lucky he was available. He won over AJ and CB and made them believers and he didn't loose the young guns and has them listening to him still.

1) DMAC - for the blocks and rim rattlers
2) Tawn - steady as she goes
3) AB - looking like JKidd with his touch passes
