So, really, what happened? I see he's only played 1 minute, so I can tell he hasn't come back into the game. Have they given an update?

Last game, our crunch time backcourt was Arenas and Young. Now it's Crittenton and DMac. I'd say that's a modest downgrade offensively.

I think this is the compromised to Gil wanting to skip the CLE game.

I also agree that the team needs to make this more public and more ahead of time. But then again, they probably wanted to extra money and were will to do this one time before the end of the season.

If fans make a stink, they will promise to not do it again. They only have 4 games to live up to that promise. Should be easy.

Of the remaining games, this would be the one to loss. Get it out of the way.

Grizz the Buck @ 8:30 that is a huge game in the race for the lottery.

Michigan State's taking out U Conn. Done deal ... guess I can watch the Wizards now....

Wow, reading this thread and having Arenas on my fantasy teams that are in the playoffs I can say I'm also disappointed that Gil's not playing.

Seems to me he had a day's rest and NOW THAT HE'S BACK it kinda sucks to deceive or not inform fans who bought tix expecting Gil to go.

Wizards have really had a sketchy season.
Bye bye Beal.

4-point play - 2 free throws made from McGuire. On the one miss, Haywood follows it up with a slam dunk.

Haven't we learned this lesson before? ji must never ever start a game thread. Ever. Ever ever. Gil's first knee injury was a ji thread, trying to cherrypick a win at that point. The insanity must be stopped.

I blame fish.

Haywood looks like an adult playing against a group of kids out there.

It's absolutely amazing seeing the difference between this team without Haywood and this team with Haywood.

Night and day, my friends. Night and day.

As soon as Blatche checks in the game, no defense what so ever

I'm heading out right now.

In case the Wizards win, the POTG thread will not be up until pretty late (just to give everyone a heads up).

Taps forgetting the big picture again after the Cavs win. Overplays the vets while youngsters rot on the bench in another losing effort.

Sorry for missing out on the game thread, fellas. I was up in Boston walking with with a friend against MS. Sorry to hear about Nick.

I've got some board reading to catch up on and a lot of Wiz thoughts percolating in my head. Hope everyone is well. MS sucks. Everyone count their blessings.

"It's not always bad to be in last place. Here's some things we can focus on: One, we tried hard. And two, we're still dear friends."

and haywood continued his comeback tour by beasting another "good" eastern conference center.

and... we're 5% closer to landing griffin...

and...

We are ready to go short notice without GA and NY.

Haywood beasting.

Crit logged some serious minutes and 8 assists and finally 3-3 from the line.

Nick in post game says he is ok

CB continues to ball.

First ever line up of

Haywood and McGee to close the game. It was actually.

Haywood, McGee, OP, DMAC and Crit

This was a needed lose if we didn't want to worry about winning some here on out.

Griz up on the Bucks in 74-66 late in the 3rd

Only real downer was Blatche laying an egg.
