Correction,

Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen
Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili
Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum

all are clearly better...

Yao/McGrady/Artest is a push because they get injured as often as we do.

He said when healthy ...

as for the others, they may not be clearly better, but they still are IMO:

Dirk > Gil
Kidd > Butler
Howard/Terry = Jamison

Howard >> Gil
Lewis =< Jamison
Hedo < Butler

We'd have to become a 62-win team to surpass the Celts.

New mission.

Let's all pull to make it happen. No more negative thoughts. 62-win season here we come. It will happen. Book it. Woo, we're winning the lottery! Watch out now... We can do It!!!

put my on this bandwagon today

I'm obviously not a mod but the thread can go up anytime.

Predictions are changeable until tip-off game 1.

more seriously if we want to guess at win totals for next year,
one thing we might consider although I wouldn't argue that this
should be determinative, is Flip's win totals in DET. Look at that,
then compare our projected lineup/rotation to what they had.

also as much as I'd love to see it, 68 wins isn't that far from what
the all time record for wins, period, in a season is or was before
CHI upped the ante in MJ/Pip's best season. 68 wins is off the charts
good. R U kidding me!

Final thought - if we got 68 wins without a huge contribution from
our draft pick or whatever off-season trades eventually happen,
it would hopefully put to rest whether EJ, with his high mark of 45
wins, is/was good, average or something less than that.
