Ken was the greatest. I called into the show once I think, but called his office several times. Couldn't have been nicer. I remember calling him the day the O's traded for Glenn Davis and talked with him for 20-30 minutes. He was definitely from a different time.
He'd also get a little salty with the language off the air. The first time I called him he dropped the F-bomb about 10 seconds in and that **** me all up. I just couldn't imagine that he'd ever cussed in his life. It was probably because he could never eat those ****' curly fries.
