javale mcgee too oklahoma?

Post#1 » by truwizfan4evr » Fri May 22, 2009 2:27 pm

That's why a couple of teams think the Thunder might be willing to trade down in the draft. Two league sources said the Wizards and Thunder already had discussions about a swap of the No. 3 pick for the No. 5 pick and the Wizards' 2008 first-rounder, JaVale McGee.

The Wizards want Rubio but would settle for Thabeet if he's the one who falls. The Thunder would get a long, lanky shot-blocker in McGee and then could get another guy they like, Arizona State's James Harden, at No. 5 heres the link http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft200 ... tch-090521

I don't think McGee is too Oklahoma at all. He played in Nevada in college and went to high school in Michigan and Illinois I believe.

This has already been mentioned several times, btw. IBTMLM/L.

You're misunderstanding the OP, Ben. When he says "too oklahoma" he's referring to the broadway show. And so, yes, McGee is too Oklahoma. He needs to get some CHorus Line into his game to be an elite NBA player.

I know everyone loves McGhee and he is the next superstar bla bla bla..but...

why did he drop to #18 in the draft last year
and why did Tapscott not play him after taking over for EJ

yes we did see flashes but you also need to look at the red flags before you overvalue a player

Because last year was a deep draft.
