it's a rebate in the fact that technically, ticket prices didn't rise or fall. in most sections, our season ticket holders signed up for a 10-month payment plan when it was actually a 12-month payment plan, but we "made" the first and last payments.

It would have been nice for the Wiz to offer the same "rebate" to the season ticket holders in the more expensive seats.

Well if anyone is curious, I ended up buying two seats in the 400's. I'm pretty excited to see everything from the Lakers to Oleksiy Pecherov's triumphant return to the Verizon Center.

Here's another perk for season ticket holders this year: 2010 ASG tickets. (I think this is an NBA wide thing and not just Wiz season ticket holder specific).

Previously the game has been held at basketball arenas and tickets were impossible to come by for a reasonable price (I tried to get tickets for the Vegas game a few years back but wasn't going to fork over the kind of cash that they were going for). Anyway, with the game being held at Cowboy Stadium this season the prices are pretty reasonable. I just bought 4 in the 200 level corner section. Looks like I'll be paying my brother another visit in Austin in February.

I just renewed my season tickets in the upper level. Went from around row K to B this season directly across from the Wizards bench. I guess there were a lot of people that didn't renew so it has opened a lot of good seats.

My wife keeps asking me why I don't get season tickets for the Redskins instead of the Wizards. I tell her she is crazy because the Wizards are 41 games instead of 8, And I would much rather give my money to a classy guy like Abe instead of that dwarf that runs the Redskins like it his fantasy football team.
