Haywood has a weird hitch at the bottom of his knee bend just before the free throw shot. He bobbles twice like a golfer with the yips, and invariably the shot doinks out. When he was hitting his shots last we saw him he was smooth and controlled, not extra movement, very deliberate. Somebody bug him on his blog about it and see if he watches film on himself, he'll see it.

Thanks for the numbers, nate. It's a big reminder to me of the fact that most of the stats that we have measure offense (and many of those are unreliable or incomplete). Take a guy like Oberto who didn't measure up in these metrics. The team often seemed better with him on the floor. So there's a disconnect there. Similarly, with McGee (and possibly a Blatche to a lesser extent) these numbers aren't measuring their defensive shortcomings.
