Say it isn't so.

"It's like, I don't want to say it's a curse, but tough things happen to people when they go to that city, as far as injuries," he told the Washington Post.

Glad that a player finally put this out-there, I bet that this is discussed at the barber shop and in NBA locker rooms. This franchise has an overall bad rep and bad vibe right now.

Wizards were cursed with short-sighted, often penny-pinching (then reactionary spending) ownership.

Bullets/Wizards owner was a good man, but was completely in over his head as an owner (if his aspirations were indeed to win a championship)

Wizards had a lousy medical team, a threadbare scouting department, a completely incompetant gm for years (Wes), and, prior to the construction of the phone booth, facilities that DII colleges would have shunned.

No curse. Bad management.

Look at the Caps post Pollin. It is an organization that does all the little things right.... yet, I remember all of the years in the wilderness prior to the ownership transition.
