Nice game by Mike Miller. EG better act quick and lock him up to a 4 yr, 40 million dollar deal.

He should sit out the rest of the year with a shoulder/ankle/foot/ribs injury. He can't play much better than tonight. Great game to go out on.

I don't want to hear about how much we needed this win when we get stuck with the 6th pick in the draft because Sacramento, Golden State and Detroit passed us in the standings.

With our luck, we always get lower than our slot save for Kwame Brown. Sixth pick would suck. We'd probably get Alrich or Aminu. We didn't need the win, but did you want to set the NBA record for most consecutive losses? Can't blame the guys for trying.

Whatever.. I enjoyed the win..

We did our part. 16 losses was epic tanking.

Think positive and positive things will happen.

Yes and, anyway, our reaction has no bearing on the results, so why not just go with the flow? I mean, it's a hobby and all.

Same thing as last year. I bet you this Win will put us in a tie that will cost a coin flip, and we'll be picking # 5 again.

Terrible.

My negative reaction has a positive effect on my mental health. I can't tell you how stress-relieving venting can be.

Or maybe I was just tryin' to cover my tracks after starting the thread that broke our losing streak.

I mean cripes, we've got Chicago, Jersey and Golden State coming up, all at home. If we go on a streak now and end up drafting Cole Aldrich, I'll probably get waived.

Well, when ya' put it like that.

I guess I just see it as that the sixteen game losing streak was a real gift from the basketball gods and we're lucky to even be in this position, what, with the 'any given sunday' rule and all that. It wasn't long ago that we were worried about getting the 9th pick.

I am worried about the upcoming schedule though, loads of winnable games. :noway:

I enjoyed the win. The Hornets are a pretty good team. I hope it is our last win of the season though. :)

That's why I'm as mad as I am, really.

A road game against New Orleans should be an easy loss. We can't afford to win against teams that clearly have the upper-hand. I can understand winning against Golden State or New Jersey because they're actually worse than us AND we'll be at home in each game.

We'll only manage to beat NJ. Curry hangs 50 on us in an OT win for GS.
