Samardo Samuels to make his debut tonight

The Cleveland Cavaliers have assigned forward Samardo Samuels to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced today.

Samuels has played in four games for the Cavaliers this season and has averages of 3.3 points on .571 shooting and 1.0 rebound in 4.5 minutes per game.

Look for him tonight on the Bayhawks' futurecast. Should be a good one. Excited to see him play and learn how he has improved since college.

Some notes: He looked very good inside, but was ineffective whenever he put the ball on the floor. He was a solid post option on the offensive end, and somewhat struggled to defend taller players. However, he played decent position defense.
