I think you have Faried about 10 spots too high. I especially can't see a team out there that would take Faried over Leonard.

No John Henson?
Even he's a legit 6'10", he only weights 210lb. But he's super athletic and long, i think he'll be a good partner of Greg Monroe in hte frontcourt

Cammo, if you rank top-30 prospects by tiers; how would it look?

Minor detail, but I don't think CJ Leslie would be in the draft if he is a second rounder.

Word is he is leaving NC State regardless.

This is a difficult draft to tier players, as there are no real locks anywhere in this draft. Here is how I would put it right this second...
Tier 1:
1. Derrick Williams (6'9'', PF, Arizona, Soph.)
2. Perry Jones (6'11'', PF, Baylor, Fresh.)
3. Kyrie Irving (6'2'', PG, Duke, Fresh.)
4. Terrence Jones (6'9'', SF, Kentucky, Fresh.)
5. Jared Sullinger (6'9'', PF, Ohio State, Fresh.)
6. Jonas Valanciunas (6'10'', C, Lithuania)
Tier 2:
7. Donatas Motiejunas (7'0'', PF, Lithuania)
8. Jan Vesely (6'11'', SF, Czech Republic)
9. Enes Kanter (6'10'', PF, Turkey)
10. Alec Burks (6'6'', SG, Colorado, Soph.)
11. Kemba Walker (6'0'', PG, UConn, Jr.)
Tier 3:
12. Brandon Knight (6'3'', PG, Kentucky, Fresh.)
13. Jordan Hamilton (6'7'', SF, Texas, Soph.)
14. Harrison Barnes (6'8'', SF, North Carolina, Fresh.)
15. Kawhi Leonard (6'7'', SF San Diego State, Soph.)
16. Tristan Thompson (6'9'', PF, Texas, Fresh.)
Tier 4:
17. Jimmer Fredette (6'2'', PG, BYU, Sr.)
18. Chris Singleton (6'8'', SF, Florida State, Jr.)
19. Kenneth Faried (6'8'', PF, Morehead State, Sr.)
20. Klay Thompson (6'6'', SG, Washington State, Jr.)
21. Kyle Singler (6'9'', SF, Duke, Sr.)
Tier 5:
22. Trey Thompkins (6'9'', PF, Georgia, Jr.)
23. Josh Selby (6'1'', PG, Kansas, Fresh.)
24. Marcus Morris (6'9'', PF, Kansas, Jr.)
25. Marshon Brooks (6'5'', SG, Providence, Sr.)
26. Nolan Smith (6'3'', SG, Duke, Sr.)
27. Jordan Williams (6'10'', C, Maryland, Soph.)
28. Lucas Nogueira (7'0'', C, Brazil)
Tier 6:
29. Keith Benson (6'11'', C, Oakland, Sr.)
30. E'Twaun Moore (6'4'', SG, Purdue, Sr.)

I concur with that top tier - with the possible exception that I'd include Kanter in it. Honestly, I haven't seen enough of Kanter to have a strong opinion there.

Thanks a lot.
By the way, has there ever been a non-freshman player who climbed up on your board within a season as much as Derrick Williams? Looking at your mock at page 5(from 2nd of November), he was projected at 40. That's quite a rise.

No prob.
I'm not sure anyone has moved from the mid-second round to the #1 spot since I have been doing this. Though other players have made similar leaps. Brandon Roy made a similar run to the top a few years back.
Often times underclassmen are not in my 2nd round because they likely would just return to school. So it makes it hard to really tell how often guys really make giant moves up. I don't remember anyone but Roy making a big move into the top 5 though. It is one thing to move from the second round to the lotto, but another to actually get in the top 3-5. That is very tough because it is often athleticism based and rarely are guys that athletic in the second round of mocks for very long.

John Henson is missing in ur mock
and I think the 6'10", super athletic defensive specialist will be a "tier 2/3" player

Agree, he seems like an arbitrary person to leave off compared to say Tristan Thompson or Kwahi Leonard.
Jeff Taylor too.

FY1- Denvers 2nd rounder belongs to Detroit. I like this draft for Detroit, I do still see T. Jonas as a PF though and I like local guy Keith Benson as well. I havent seen Kanter play but if he looks good in workouts and his knee cheks out then I cant see Det passing on him, if not though T. Jones will be fine.

Other than Kemba Walker being too high - not bad.

I am VERY VERY sure Kanter will fall.
He hasn't played major/compeitive basketball for two years, thus he hasn't proven anything;
He also had some serious knee injuries, and if u can still remember how Dajuan Blair fell......i won't be surprised if he ends up being a mid 1st rounder.

Pretty much agree. There are a lot of options at PF/C in this draft. He will need to work out well to stay in the lottery IMO.

Yes Kanter had a knee injury but he only missed 3 or 4 months. And it was just 1 injury. Its not like he had these knee issues for years or something like that. So I don't really think that this knee "problem" will make him fall that much in the draft.
