Why? A rugged big willing to do the dirty work is exactly what NY needs. They had Shawn Williams covering big men last year.

Jackson is a talented tweener who could carve out a Jason Terry type role if the team that picks him is smart enough to not try to force him to be a playmaking PG. I do not see him as a PG at the NBA level. He has some point guard skills, but he is definitely an undersized SG IMO. He has all the tools to be a big time scorer though.
Leslie is another guy who possesses a ton of athleticism, but not nearly the basketball skills to go with it that Jackson has. He is a little taller and more ready to be a SG right out of the gate. The question though is if he has the basketball skill to become a player or if he is the SG version of Stanley Robinson. All athleticism, no basketball. If he can put it all together and continue to improve his skills, he could be a poor man's Dwyane Wade. He is a similar athlete and has a similar body type to Wade and plays with the same kind of hoop attacking abandon. He will need a lot of work though to get to that point. His handle and his shooting need to improve to play SG at the NBA level.

Thanks for the info, both are projected to be late 1sts-early 2nds with Jackson having a chance to go in early 20's. Right?

Keith Benson higher than Jeremy Tyler??

I'm starting to feel like it would be a mistake for Vernon Macklin not to get drafted. I think he's a guy that could actually make an NBA roster and have a shot at contributing.
I think the Kings would grab Jimmer over Leonard, and I'd say if Detroit passes on him, Biyombo's best chance is at 11, but that's just my 2 cents.
