to clarify, is this where you think people should be picked or where you think they will be picked?

My mocks are always based on what I will do if I were to be the GM of the team picking at that moment.
Not on what the real ones will do.
I'm not trying to predict or be accurate, is just my opinion of the prospects/class.

Okay cool just wondering.

Nurkic has been climbing up a lot of boards recently. I think it's probably fair to say he's passed WCS as the second best center prospect of this draft.

I have him as my 13th best prospect right now, but Cleveland needs a Center, badly.

Just seeking your opinion. Most people seem to have Embiid projected #1 and at worst #3. Why do you gave him lower than most?

In my opinion he is a worse prospect than the other 3, plus the Center situation in those teams and in the NBA is clear.
Embiid is a good project, I have my doubts if he or Parker are the 3rd best prospect, but even if he were to be the 3rd in my big board, I will roll the dice with a perimeter guy if I were any of those teams.
They need badly a perimeter reference, you just don't go in the other direction the game is going, offensive Centers are good, but they are not needed to win it all, is fairly easier to win with an elite wing than with an elite Center, and I'm not sure Embiid is in the Duncan/Olajuwon caliber, I can see him being a really good post player, but not that good, in a second tier.
So I will always go, when the ceiling is similar, with the perimeter one, more durable, and the way the game is played now, more decisive.
Plus like I said, those 3 teams have really good prospects at Center, with bargain deals.
4# is still a pretty high for Embiid.

My big board for the top5 is something like,

Wiggins
Exum

Parker/Embiid

Randle

But don't you think there is a little bit more to a pick than what direction the usage of certain positions is going? it seems like you're not taking into account starting center quality having greater disparity 1-30 than any other position. locking in an excellent center gives you a major advantage.

Milwaukee, Orlando and Philadelphia got really good centers locked right now
they need a perimeter star

Whoa, Gordon far too low and Nick Johnson and Jahii Carson far too high.

Edit - just noticed this is your opinion and not what you think will happen, so never mind.

First full mock with the final standings and more or less an idea of who's in, if some obvious player is not there, is because I believe is not declaring.
The 2nd round rights, I took them from RealGM, I hope everything is right and updated, let me know if not, please.
Obviously in the Undrafted list, some player will be missing, if you want to add somebody that you consider a possible prospect, tell me.

Any reason you have Chicago passing on Stauskas? Worst 3 point shooting team passing on a great 3 point shooter?

I think most Bulls fans would be upset if that were to play out.

With the new tie-breakers I changed it, I had to.
I don't like Embiid at Utah, but with no trades and no lottery yet, is the best I can do, then you have to change everything else, Smart to Boston, Utah 2nd pick, Utah 2nd rounders, Boston 2nd pick, Boston 2nd rounders, plus some other teams affected by those changes, Chicago, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Dallas...

So it's pretty much a new mock, check it out.

I changed it, I had Nurkic before.

I included Ioannis Papapetrou too, I forgot about him being eligible before.

It is pretty deep I agree. I McAdoo will have an NBA career and most folks have him deep in the 2nd round.
