Could I get some reasoning as to why 76ers are drafting Embiid no matter the spot?

We already have Noel at Center. I don't think Noel and Embiid can play together at least offensively.

You have no idea if Noel is any good. That's why. Noel could easily be a bust given his weak frame and zero offensive ability. Embiid has much more potential than him has a basketball player. The sixers could just dump Noel if he's no good. Also he has philly taking Embiid after wiggins and Parker are gone. The sixers probably would take either of them before Embiid if they had the choice. They probably wouldn't consider taking smart or exum since MCW seems to be the future pg.

Yeah, OrlandoNed has pretty much explained my reasoning for that pick. Embiid and Noel are also very different players despite both being raw. I don't see a lot of redundancy.

is Wiggins only a SF ?
the Bucks have Giannis at SF
how would this work drafting another SF ?

any reasoning or chance for the Bucks to move down, while picking up another pick ?

yes, i know everyone is saying Wiggins and Jabari, r great
but how about getting 1 of Embiid, Randle, Exum, Smart.....and then another pick in the 1st round ?

I've edited his position now, because he can likely also play SG.

As far as the Bucks trading down, there are several lottery teams with multiple 1st round picks like Utah, Philly, and Orlando. If the Bucks weren't as high on the top of the draft as other teams, there might be some opportunities to make such a move.

Wiggins/Adetokunbo/Henson/Sanders would be so unbelievably long and have so much defensive potential. I think it would be hard for them to pass up. With that said there's a lot of time left for players to change some of our opinions of them.

And Giannis might end up being able to play the 4 - as there's talk that they expect him to grow to 7 foot. I wouldn't use him as an excuse to not draft a 3. Howevuh... I think Parker would be the pick over Wiggins. They need the best basketball player - not the best athlete. They also need someone to step up as their go-to guy on offense. Parker was born to be a go-to guy, and Wiggins seems a bit passive for that role.

I don't really get what everybody seems to love about Rodney Hood.
He is a really good shooter, and that's about it, he is crafty and can score, but he is going to have problems in defense with his limited wingspan and athleticism, he is not a good ball handler and he is old for his class.
I like the guy as a starter/role player, but you don't pick a player like that in the top10.
I believe he is more a late lotto-mid teens prospect right now.

He's riding a really hot start, so I wouldn't be too surprised if his stock started to fall a bit. I think he has shown good instincts and despite his limitations should have a long NBA career.

I'd love to see the 76ers get both Wiggins and Vonleh with their picks, but I don't see it, if the Pelicans pick is at #12. Noah Vonleh will shoot up draft boards if he declares. He is almost a year younger than the other Freshmen and he is reportedly still growing. I can't see him getting out of the top 10, on physical projection alone.

Bucks have Larry Sanders, Zaza Pachulia, Miroslav at the C positions

then have Henson, Ersan, Udoh at the PF positions

Giannis, Middleton sg/sf, Delfino, Butler(expiring) at the SF spot

im leaning towards Jabari, to play as a PF

knight, middleton, giannis, jabari, sanders

wolters, mayo, delfino, ersan, henson

zaza, miroslav, neal

expiring : Butler, Ridnour,

Udoh has a Qualyfying offer of $5.9M....NO WAY should they give him that

Yeah I just think that whoever has the first pick at this point will take Embiid. He has a higher ceiling than Sanders or Henson as well (and I really like both players).
