The Official Waiver Wire Thread

In this thread we discuss roster moves with the help of input from fellow fantasy owners.

I'll start us off. It looks to me like Jarret Jack is a most own player with Rush going down. He'll play 30+ with the ball in his hands, Curry will slide to SG and Thompson to SF. Thoughts?

It's also looking like Robin Lopez could be a legit fantasy option at C. I'm also keeping a close eye on Patrick Patterson as he seems to be the starting PF in Houston and has got a sweet midrange game.

I'm interested in all 3 of these players but I'm just not sure who to drop. I look at my roster and Elton Brand and Samuel Dalember seem to be the most expendable...someone help me before I screw this up lol

Cheers guys

I just dropped Dalembert. Too inconsistent with the minutes. Doesn't look like he'll be playing much.

I expect him to continue to produce at the level he has thus far. Not a definate starter, but a decent guy to play as needed. In my daily points league he has gotten about 22 points a night. I rate players getting 20 points as being rosterable in my league as being rosterable. (12 teams-15 man rosters-2 IR slots)
For me, I just dropped him for Ray Allen, as my team was F heavy. Couldn't trade him and needed a G.

He is a intriguing player. He has played when when given the opportunity

Keep an eye on Detroit tonight. There will be changes. I think Stuckey will move to a 6th man role (buy low, he's shooting about 20% for the season so far in 84 minutes). English will probably step in as a starting sg, and provide decent 3pt and stls numbers.I'd say 1.7 3pts/game and 1.3 stls. Nice for in a deeeeep league. I can see Jerebko either starting as sf or becoming the first 'big' man scoring option off the bench, seeing as I'd put money on Drummon starting from now on and Monroe mocing to PF, where he'll probably play a bit better on the offensive end. He'll have some issues chasing faster and more agile pf''s on D though.

I'd probably do it. Its seems like Jackson really likes the Jack/Steph/Klay lineup.

I'm thinking about turning Barnes and Crowder into Rivers and Favors. What do you guys think. I'm in a 14 team ( cat league. The wire is picked to the bone in our league. I'm trying to set my team up long term with guys that are gonna get big minutes.

For people who watch more GS Basketball than I do - How do you see his production from here on out now that Rush is out. Jack and RJ getting more minutes has me worried. Do you guys think he'll get to 30 minutes a game?

Pretty much the same situation with Crowder.

Rivers can't shoot .200% from the field forever can he? I think he"ll get all the minutes he can handle especially with that Gordon situation.

Favors would be a stash in case Millsap or Jefferson get traded.

My team

Holiday
Teague
Knight
JRich
Hayward
Tayshaun
Melo
Smoove
Noah
Asik
Tristan
Barnes
Crowder

I like Crowder a lot actually, I wouldn't do it. I'd also definitely turn Ridnour into Jack.

Any thoughts on Seraphin? I know he wont' be scoring 19 points regularly but my forwards are quite weak until Dirk is playing again.

I like Seraphin a lot, even moreso in a keepers league. VERY strong, works his ass off on and off the court. He will be a 17/10/1.7 type of guy with great fg soon.

Love Seraphin as well. Washington looks really bad again, so even if he splits minutes early in the season, you know he's going to get heavy minutes later on.

i like Bledsoe this week with the Clippers playing Thursday and Sunday

also Alan Anderson gave some pretty good production for the Raps last game, I'm going to monitor how he does. Raps haven't got much production out of starting SF Fields

Which Waiver Wire Frontcourt Player would you want?

Gustav Ayon - PF
Kendrick Perkins - C
Andre Drummond - PF/C
Taj Gibson - PF

I don't care that none of them can score or have low FT% ( they don't take enough to matter ), I just want rebounding and blockshots from them as a 4th Center. My thought is that I'd wait it out on Ayon ( cuz he's more well rounded when it comes to production ) but I think that Drummond has more upside despite his limited minutes now. From what I have read...he should get more minutes as the season progresses. I think that Taj is consistent enough that he'd provide consistent production.

I'm leaning towards Drummond but could stick with Ayon...if he starts producing.
