What's up with Aminu? Is he so apathetic about basketball that he got benched?

Maybe he's just not that good and that was a fluke.

He was still solid for me. I'm in an 18 team h2h 9cat. Ah well, time to cut my losses and pick up someone else.

Didn't think a new thread was necessary for this, so I'll ask here.

When a manager drops a player into waivers, are they able to put in a waiver claim for that same player (let's say they had the number 1 waiver priority as well)? Or do they have to wait until the waiver period ends and they become a free agent in order to pick them back up?

The reason I ask is another manager in my league just dropped Kevin Martin for Belinelli, and I have a feeling they might have second thoughts soon...

No, the manager who drops a player can't put in a waiver request for that same player. I think it goes without saying but you should definitely try and grab Martin.

I was fortunate enough to grab belinelli last night. Aside from the low fg%, great line. Thinking hell be good with rip out. 4-5 good games in a row now. Thoughts?

He sucks but he's getting PT so maybe he can suck slightly less and be slightly valuable

not for the foreseeable future, the bucks have too many frontcourt players and it looks like gooden is the least favored of the group. before these injuries, he wasnt even dressing for them i dont think

EDIT: Should i drop hickson for ilyasova or favors? im usually big on production over potential but theres a loooot of potential there...

Ilyasova is very intriguing at the moment. What's the rest of your team?

PG: D-Will, Lou Williams, Jack, Wall
SG: Mayo, Afflalo
SF: Gay
PF: Anderson, Sanders, Hickson, Ed Davis
C: Monroe, McGee

Played well tonight against the spurs though, was leaning towards dropping before but am really up in the air now

Honestly, there's no clear-cut answer. It's a tough decision and no matter which one you make you are somewhat likely to be wrong.

Flip a coin.

In other news, everyone should grab Shved now:

Alexey Shved will start at shooting guard on Friday against the Hornets.
Malcolm Lee (knee) didn't make the road trip, and after Shved started the second half of the previous game, he'll get the nod from the get go on Friday. He hasn't started a game yet this season, but e's averaging 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 3-pointers in four December games, so there's definite upside here. Josh Howard (illness) will play and come off the bench.

I want to pick up Shved and Kwahi but who do I drop??? It is a keeper league.
C Dwight, Pekovic, Bynum (waiting to see what they say about his knee on the 20th. Hoping he plays so i can trade him for picks/players)
PF Zbo, The brow, Drummond,
SF Gay, JR smith
SG JJ Redick, Bellinelli
PG Lillard, Wall

The obvious answer is Bellinelli but who else? And if I had to pick between Shved and Kwahi who do I pick?

I would drop Drummond but it is a keeper league and I think he is a monster who is going to blow up in year 2 or 3.

Drummond & Belinelli

Potential is overrated in keepers. The present is always the most important. That's why I always make a decision at the start of the year in keepers:

When am I planning on contending? If first place is not PROBABLE for me this year, I am shipping off all assets and preparing for the next 2-3 years.

It's bad news to be in the middle. Are you going for this year? Then drop Drummond. Are there more loaded teams than you that you likely can't contend with? Play two years down the line, trade Dwight/Pek/Gay/Zbo/Reddick/etc. for young talent, and go for the future.

Looking at your team I'd go for the future.
