One of a kind situation... Veto worthy?!?

Post#1 » by 3Si » Fri Nov 16, 2012 4:33 am

Here's the trade:

Tony Parker
Afflalo
Monta Ellis
Evan Turner
Hawes
Robin Lopez

For

Al Jefferson

This is a weekly change league which means you are able to stash injured players. Regular H2H Keeper standard cat league

Normally, this may just look like a 6 for 1 trade, someone looking for a keeper. Now here's the kicker...

The Jefferson side dropped:

Beal
GWallace
Nene
Nelson
Brand

So, the reason the Jefferson side did this was to piss off the Monta side. He was fully aware that he was suppose to choose 2-3 players from that offer list, not all 6. I'm not going to lie, the owner of Monta is an a$$, but should this trade be allowed? The Jefferson side already admitted that he did this out of spite.

In case you are wondering, while this may sound like a Grade school argument, it actually happened in an old fart league and most of us know each other.

I don't get it. All 6 must have been offered if the trade was accepted.

I don't think I've ever seen a trade of 6 for 1...

*edit, and its not even for Lebron or Durant...

The 6 was offered as a list for the other GM to choose from. He was expecting a counter offer. The GM that accepted this was fully aware of this, but because he wanted to screw the other GM over, he decided to drop his players just to make this deal go through.

Either 6 were offered or they weren't. Since the trade was accepted, I'm guessing they were. If you want to send someone a list to choose from, that's what you do, not offer a trade that has all 6.
