Auction draft tips and sleepers

Post#1 » by makaveli_99 » Wed Oct 8, 2014 4:32 pm

I've never done an auction draft for NBA before, but recently did one for NFL, and probably won't do snake again...At first i hated the idea of auction draft, but its amazing, and the most fair.

anyone doing an auction draft and have any tips or value picks?

LBJ and KD will probably go for $80+... lebron also has a playoff week there cle plays 2 games, so i will pass on him. I am looking for a balanced team, instead of spending 80% of my budget on 2 super stars

Is it a good strategy to nominate people you don't want, so that you can get others to spend money on them?

I got a question for the auction vets. What's behind the strategy to nominate worthless unrosterables like Fredette or Zaza? Isn't that just wasting a dollar and a roster spot? It's different if you're nominating Draymond Green for a buck, I can see trying to get others to waste $ while you save yours for when they are strapped for cash.
