Anybody here play draftkings or fanduel
Curious if anybody else participates in 1 day betting leagues? Hoping maybe to start a thread where we can exchange ideas, etc.

I play FanDuel. I was playing football, now switching over to basketball and it's nice that its only 1 day as opposed to once a week

I think the hard part about sites like fanduel is not getting matched up against the sharks. I recommend training on 50-50s against a large set of users. That way each shark is only one person in the pool. Once you can beat the 50-50s, then you can try the head to heads.

Some tips:
Start off by playing 50/50s
Build your team based around 3 players you're sure will have a good game.
Find the best value players.
Look at the matchups and try to pick players that will be on high scoring teams.
Also avoid starters on teams that are most likely to get blown out.
If you guys need any help, lmk.

I do okay on draftkings. I'm making a little bit of money. However it amazes me how somebody can predict that random bench guy A is going to score 35 fantasy points that night. I am a bit skeptical of the top end players...they simply can't be that good.
