Drop Dwight Howard?

Post#1 » by AdrianDoorbal » Tue Feb 10, 2015 2:38 am

He might be back for the Fantasy playoffs, but the amount of man games and stats lost to his injury might not allow one to make those playoffs. In my league guys like Hawes, Covington, Payton, Nurkic, etc. Basically, there's no Dwight Howard available, but is it worth it to wait on him?

Hey, it really depends on league settings, who your players are, and how many teams are in the league. He really does hurt a team in ft% and tos

If you have Dwight it will be impossible to move him unless there just happens to be a punt FT% in 1st. You never know, his name value alone might ring someone into giving their worse player up who might be an upgrade over the available FA.

My team is currently #1 in my league's standings, so making the playoffs is a lock essentially. Should I still drop him? I'm fine with losing a few regular season match ups but is it worth keeping him around for the playoffs? I think he could explode when he comes back, if the recovery goes well.

If you can afford to hold onto him I would. However, I have been burned holding injured players.
