Like Melo could have gotten 129 million over 5 years but Bosh only gets 118 million over 5 years.

a players max is the bigger of
a - 105% of his prior salary
b - league-set max
bosh max was league-set max, while melo max was based on 105% of prior salary (which was much higher than bosh's)
