CBA before 1995

Hi guys! I am recently looking for CBA before 1995, do you guys happen to know where I can find it? One reason for this is, some teams' salaries just didn't add up to the salary cap when looking back to the mid 1990's. For example, the 1994-95 Bulls salary were exceeding the cap at that year. While I knew it could be some difference between the old CBA and nowadays, I am particular interested in figuring out what did I miss.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know where to find old CBA info.

However the salary cap has always been a soft cap. Teams have been able to resign their own players even if it meant going over the cap. The Celtics were most public about their concern over potentially losing star players if a hard cap was put into place - hence 'Bird rights'.

Thanks man! I am aware of the bird right. It’s just when I tried to see how Bulls built up the team in 1995, it’s a hard to add everything up. Is there a chance that MJ’s salary not counted in the salary cap when retiring?
