Raiders Sign Former First-Rounder Cooper

The Raiders have signed defensive lineman Chris Cooper, the first free agent they've added this offseason who did not play in Oakland last year.

Cooper was a sixth-round pick by the Raiders in 2001 and spent three seasons with the team.

That's the wiretap said.

"Cooper was a sixth round pick by the Raiders in 2001 and spent three seasons with the team."
The title stated that the "Raiders sign former first rounder Cooper"

Wiretap is compiled by multiple people (mostly Andrew Perna, but also myself and a few others) throughout the day to make sure we have someone adding stories around the clock.

We find stories by checking in on as many people who cover sports as frequently as possible.

Pacers president Larry Bird says that he's never heard team owner Herb Simon say he would relocate the club.

Bird did admit that he's heard team owner Herb Simon say he would relocate the team.

Another report states that the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder are two additional teams on Bosh's wish list, previously reported to include the Bulls, Heat, Knicks and Lakers.

Which report was this? You guys don't even link it to the right article.

Would you have a wiretap that says "Jeff Van Gundy Acknowledges He's Bald"?

Title error on today's McHale/Garnett item.

What's being blamed on what is the wrong way around.

Sherron Collins Gets Shot In Charlotte

Kansas guard Sherron Collins went undrafted on Thursday night, but will get a chance to make it in the NBA.

Collins will play for the Bobcats' summer league team next month.

"I was just told - and it's probably already been reported - Sherron Collins will play summer league with Charlotte," Jeff Goodman of FOX Sports wrote on his Twitter page.

Cmon WT writers. You're better than that!

Would have been funnier if it had been in Washington.

But sometimes I think the WT Headlines are purposely structured that way to get more hits. Though I agree it is idiotic.

Who's the actual person that writes these things and how much do they get paid?

I totally clicked on the link thinking he got shot. I really don't think the WT writers are qualified journalists, so it makes sense.
