I am logged in now because of the auto-login feature but am unable to retrieve my password. I tried changing my email to a valid one but cannot because of the current password requirement. There should be another way to retrieve a password

You signed up with a invalid email and forgot your password? What should be another secure way to reset your password?

Realest,
Do you need me to change the E-Mail on your account?
Please let me know via PM.

Still can't send or read PMs, while newer users with less posts can. Why is that?

Re: Forum Bugs and Account Issues
There are 2 issues I've had lately when using this forum:
1. On my iPhone (iOS 8) the site instantly redirects through a series of adds until it sends me to an App Store page for a sports betting app. I'm unable to use the site at all, because every time it sends me to this App Store link.
2. On my computer, visiting this site causes my Flash Player usage to go crazy. I'm seeing like 80% CPU usage just from browsing the forum. I think this is probably an ad that is out of control. I'm using a MacBook Air with the latest OS X and Safari.

Not sure on Mac, but in Windows I just disable Flash on the browser I use to visit sites like these. Thus, I get no flash or errors or slowdowns because it does not load them. This does help stop exploits via Trojans that get thru via Flash much of the time as well.

I'd recommend that as well.

Re: Forum Bugs and Account Issues
Why is it that when I want to post in a thread, but need to sign in............I sign in, then it takes me out of the thread that I was about to post in, then I have to navigate back to where I was from the RealGM home page?
RealGM never used to do this. I could just sign in & it would keep me on the page that I wanted to view.

Just tried it. Yes, it takes me out of the thread & takes me to the RealGM Sports page.
I have figured out a way to help navigate quicker though (hit the back button after I sign in & go back to the page I was originally on).

Hi there, maybe it's just me but I don't get any notification when somebody's responding to/and1-ing me. Got a couple of and1s since the new design was introduced - but still "You have no notifications".
I've come to the conclusion that most folks don't really care that you broke one of the rules... they just enjoy telling you that you broke it.

How do I post a avatar? I try to post a link and tells me to use a recommended site?

How do I get an avatar using the remote option? I put the image url in and it says its not from an approved site.
