The fact that the photo hasn't been updated to show Glen Rice Jr., the MVP of the Vegas Summer League, is flat out wrong and should be unacceptable for a site as popular as RealGM.

If this was the first time that RealGM had posted the wrong photo of a player while writing an article about them, I would not have posted but it seems to be a recurring event.

Maybe it is an inside joke amongst the site's writers.

That has bothered me for some time as well. I think RealGM is looking for images with no license or CC license to use in the wiretap, and they're lazy to find new ones. That's why half of the time the image is unrelated to the news story. For example, anytime you hear a relatively unknown guy signing with a team, you can see the GM or coach of said team on the picture that's associated with the story.

We pay for an AP license and are limited to a certain number per month and we didn't have one available for Glen Rice Jr. We do our best to spread those out to cover as many players/coaches as possible with their current teams.

You'll probably notice that happen every once in a while, but we do our best with the images we have to work with.
