Ballboys and the creation of new threads

Post#1 » by EArl » Wed Oct 8, 2014 5:08 am

I was wondering why there isn't a rule similar to the GB ( read only access) everywhere in that new users cannot make new threads for the first say thirty days. Ballboys have reputations of making threads that are duplications or just threads that are not needed. Wouldn't not allowing them to create new threads for the first help in them learning the rules first? This would also deter the advertising spammers that create threads to sell things.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

We are going to look into it the next time we do upgrades but no decision has been made.
