Thread Locks
Shouldn't the Mod who locks your thread message you as to why they locked it? Especially if you aren't trying to troll its really insulting not to know why one of your threads was locked.

Re: Thread Locks
Ca,
I have Moderators post why unless they are on a mobile device.
Which thread is your question about?
Please post a link.
Thanks!

Re: Thread Locks
If it's a blatantly obvious comparison on the gen board, then the OP is just lazy and there is no need to comment.
If it's degenerating into nothing but flaming and stupidity, same deal.
If it's your "Players You Didn't Know Shot Threes," it was that you were using a video game and were startled because you knew nothing about Patrick Patterson and it wasn't thread worthy.

Re: Thread Locks
So why did this thread get locked?
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1349069
it was a legitimate topic. The guy played dirty and tried injuring people. No place for that in the league. That is in no way shape or form baiting. I'd appreciate an explanation, but I won't hold my breathe. Mods need to be held accountable for their actions. Is a simple explanation that much to ask for?

Re: Thread Locks
Eduardo,
You made a topic that was out of the blue for many years ago and/or The NBA Player Comparisons Forum.
That's probably why it was locked.

Right. I knew nothing about Patrick Patterson, and posed the question, what other players had something in their repertoire that you didn't know they had? Namely, the 3 ball. I am pretty sure one of the points of this board is to learn more about basketball, not to be an esoteric club "hurhurhur you didn't know anything about Patrick Patterson." And considering I've made like 4 threads in 9 years, yeah, I was more confused than lazy about why such a benign topic was locked while topics that encourage literally wishing for someones health to fail (aka every Derek Rose thread) stay open.
The fact I learned he could shoot from a video game is completely irrelevant.
But what ever, what's done is done.

It would have take. 5 seconds on NBA.com to discover that he shoots threes, and as I said, it wasn't a thread-worthy revelation.
