Bonjour, mes ami
C'est une probleme avec le URL Shortening automatic function...
For example, I posted this link:
https://www.google.com/flights/#search; ... YYZ0AA1610
And at first it was working correctly, shortened with elipses, then when I try to edit the post, it doesn't copy the full URL to the edit, but the shortened version with the elipses, like you can see above now. Here's the original link:
https://www.google.com/flights/#search; ... YYZ0AA1610
There is another problem as well:
- My french sucks.

This also happens when quoting posts with URLs in them, as you can see above, the 2nd link is now broken but it works in the original post.

Re: URL Shortening breaking links when editing post
I actually came to this forum to make a suggestion regarding links.
I see far too many broken links these days, and they're always of the automatic shortened variety. I don't even bother fixing them anymore as they are so frequent.
It would be nice if we could get rid of this function.

We're working to fix this problem.
It is a pain for me too and hopefully this is resolved soon.

Re: URL Shortening breaking links when editing post
This is pretty bad for over two months already

My workaround is to put links into URL tags manually.
