iOS app update ever coming?

Just got this new iPhone and im disappointed to see that the iOS version is a year and a half old! The new Android version runs much better! Is there an update to the iOS version in the works at all?

As far as I know since the forum upgraded, the mobile apps have been discontinued. You could always use something like Tapatalk, which I believe is now free.
