contradictory feedback process?

The moderator for the olympics forum says to come here to give feedback about the basketball discussion.
But the discussions here about that topic are locked.

The moderator for the NBA forum says to talk about the NBA players on Team USA in the Olympics forum, and that you're trying to drive traffic to the Olympic forum.
But there's no link to the Olympics forum on the home page or the forums page--I don't even know how to find it except to go to the link in the NBA forum.

Please let us discuss NBA players in the NBA forum.
