Raptors Sever Ties With Ed Stefanski

The Toronto Raptors have severed ties with Ed Stefanski, according to sources.

Stefanski had one season remaining on his contract with the Raptors and his dismissal was the first decision of Masai Ujiri's tenure with the club.

Stefanski was previously with the Philadelphia 76ers.

I didn't even know this guy worked for the raptors. No wonder the raptors are so dysfunctional. Pairing this guy with colangelo is a recipe for disaster. I remember when he was gm of Philadelphia, he traded away a bunch of draft picks to clear cap space in 2008 so he could sign elton brand to a max deal despite the fact brand played in only 8 games the previous season due to a ruptured achilles. Brand was never an all star again and either was injured or unproductive during his entire tenure with the sixers. Lol the sixers ate the final year of brand's deal via amnesty so they could have cap room to trade for andrew bynum Poor sixers
