Deron Williams Doesn't Foresee Trades, Believes Current Nets Must Turn Around Season

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jan 1, 2014 5:21 am

The Brooklyn Nets fell to 10-21 on Tuesday when they were blown out by the San Antonio Spurs and they have lost six of their past seven games.

Deron Williams believes this current group of Nets players must turn around the season.

“We have no choice,” Williams said. “I don’t think we’re making any trades. … I mean, I don’t know, but this is the team we’ve got.

"We feel like we can win with it. We just have to figure out how.”

Going to be tough without Brook Lopez but if there's any team in NY that can turn it around they are on top of the list, before the hapless Knicks.

Because the Nets does not have any assets to make a significant trade.

The current nets will turn it around a full 360 degrees. They are going nowhere fast.

I dont get it.

Why is Garnett still playing this year if he isn't going to be on the court. Just retire already.

He should be going to Kidd and saying play me until I cant play anymore if it is his last year. The guy has had no rhythm all season and I really do think its because of the playing time inconsistency.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

I looked at Garnetts production rate, and it is pathetic. I hated him for years, but the fact is, he is getting too old and sucks, but this dude isn't the KG I hated all those years when he was at T-Wolve!

I am pretending to talk like Billy King: "Well we fired so many coaches when it was completely un-necessary, we made some mistakes, so this time, when it is completely necessary to fire the coach to get succes, we just can't do it, because as an organization at Nets, we don't want to seem soft or to make any more mistakes. We want to be nice and go ahead with our plans for a rookie coach to attempt to make playoffs"!

I can see Billy saying this, and then he would point out that your only 3 games behind 8th place. Pretending like Kidd is fully capable of running a team, calling plays and motivating his players.
