Warriors, Jazz Pursuing Spurs' Shooting Coach Engelland For Assistant Job

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jun 11, 2014 3:13 pm

The Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz are interested in hiring Chip Engelland, shooting coach of the San Antonio Spurs.

Steve Kerr succeeded Engelland as the top perimeter gun at Pacific Palisades High School.

Engelland has famously worked with Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker and Danny Green with the Spurs.

It doesn't count against the cap and the Warriors don't seem to have issues with spending, so I say go for it.
